Thankfully, the gap between one season ending and the next starting is shrinking to the point of being almost invisible. If you follow just one club the gap is more identifiable from the last game of the season to your first pre-season friendly, but for those of us who go to other games, such as local cup finals, other teams play-off games etc, then avoiding reality is a little easier. A Review of Alfreton Town's 2024/25 Season.  Alfreton Town, Derbyshire Senior Cup Winners 2024/25 " It’s not where we wanted to be but it was still a good season ". That will probably be the thoughts of those of us associated with Alfreton Town upon the conclusion of the 2024/25 season. After two consecutive seasons of over achieving and qualifying for the play-offs a final position of 14 th, an FA Cup 1 st Round appearance and winning the Derbyshire Senior Cup, will still be seen in Ofton as a decent season. Taking into consideration long term injuries, 26 new players signed and 8 goalkeepers either used or signed on then it’s not a bad achievement. By the way, the eight keepers, can you name them?
